received the Master Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from the International Doctoral School in Information and Communication Technology, Trento, Italy, in 2018. He is currently a PostDoc at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) at the University of Trento, and a Research Fellow of the ELEDIA Research Center.

Dr. Anselmi is a member of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, serving as a reviewer for different international journals including IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, and IET on Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation. His research activities are mainly focused on synthesis methods for unconventional antenna array architectures, tolerance analysis of antenna systems, and electromagnetic inverse scattering techniques, with interest on compressive sensing methodologies for microwave imaging applications.

Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (ETE) from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, in 2013 and the Master Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from University of Trento, Italy, in 2016. He is currently a PhD Student at the International Doctoral School in Information and Communication Technology of Trento and a Senior Researcher of the ELEDIA Research Center. His research work is mainly focused on optimization techniques as applied to advanced radar and communications systems and architectures and electromagnetic inverse scattering methodologies.

His research activities are focused on the solution of antenna array synthesis and electromagnetic inverse scattering problems. Dr. Poli is a Member and of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society.

He was a Post Doc Researcher at CentraleSupélec, in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, and a Post Doc Researcher at the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA), in Gif-sur-Yvette, France. He is currently a Researcher at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) at the University of Trento, Italy, and a Research Fellow of the ELEDIA Research Center.

Dr. Salucci is a Member and of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and he was a Member of the COST Action TU1208 "Civil Engineering Applications of Ground Penetrating Radar". He serves as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation and as a reviewer for different international journals including IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, IEEE Journal on Multiscale and Multiphysics Computational Techniques, and IET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation. His research activities are mainly concerned with inverse scattering, GPR microwave imaging techniques, antenna synthesis, and computational electromagnetics with focus on System-by-Design methodologies integrating optimization techniques and Learning-by- Examples methods for real-world applications.

(S’16) received the B.S. degree and M.S. degree (summa cum laude ) in electronic engineering from Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy, in 2012 and 2015, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Applied Electronics, Roma Tre University in April 2019.,Before starting his Ph.D. degree, he was an Antenna Engineer with Elettronica S.p.A., Rome, where he designed, modeled, and optimized antennas for military applications. His current research interests include the design and applications of artificially engineered materials and linear/reconfigurable metasurfaces for microwave components, with an emphasis on the analysis and design of cloaking devices for antenna systems.

Dr. Vellucci is currently a member of the Virtual Institute for Artificial Electromagnetic Materials and Metamaterials (METAMORPHOSE VI, the International Metamaterials Society), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a PostDoc at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) at the University of Trento, and a Research Fellow of the ELEDIA Research Center. He was a recipient of the IEEE AP-S Award of the Central-Southern Italy Chapter in 2019, the Outstanding Reviewers Award from the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation in 2018 and 2019, and the Leonardo-Finmeccanica Innovation Award for “Young Students”, in 2015. He has been serving as a technical reviewer of many high-level international journals related to electromagnetic field theory and metamaterial.
